Blessing John Oyelami is the founder and lead architect of Spaciture, a practice built on the conviction that architecture should serve people, respect the environment, and endure for generations. Trained in architecture at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, and a registered member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (MNIA) and ARCON, he brings academic depth and professional rigour to every project he leads.
At the heart of his work is a deep commitment to sustainability. Blessing designs for the long term, prioritising passive cooling, natural light, responsible material selection, and energy efficiency so that his buildings tread lightly on the environment while remaining comfortable and beautiful. For him, sustainable design is not an add-on but the starting point: architecture that works with its climate and context rather than against it.
Over more than a decade of practice, he has delivered a diverse portfolio spanning luxury residences, commercial developments, and hospitality projects, including work on state-level projects in Lagos. Each carries the same signature: a careful balance of ambition and restraint, where every decision is made with purpose and every space is designed to improve the lives of the people who use it.
His approach is quietly radical: to prove that world-class, environmentally responsible architecture is not only possible in Nigeria, but essential to how the country builds its future.
